INIA’s Deputy Director Rosette Farrugia-Bonello was one of the invited Keynote speakers during the virtual international conference on Technologies for Active and Independent living in old Age which was organised between 10-11 February 2021. Rosette Farrugia-Bonello’s presentation was on COVID-19: Older persons and the role of Technology. This was the 4th international conference to be organised in the frame of the long-term (eng)-aging! Project. This project aims to foster a society-wide debate about the accelerating demographic change and population ageing. It also aims to stimulate a constructive discussion about these trends and to look for ways to make use of them for the benefit of society. The (eng)aging! project is run by Active Aging Center (AAC) in collaboration with KEYNOTE consultancy, Prague, Czech Republic.
