INIA’s Research and Programme Manager Rosette Farrugia-Bonello, lectured on ‘Activities for persons with Dementia’ and on ‘Dementia friendly design and assistive technology’ during a European funded training programme on Dementia Awareness. The programme was tailor-made for care staff employed in Care Homes for the older persons which are state-owned. More than thousand personnel took part in the training. The training was organised by the Parliamentary Secretariat for Rights of persons with disability and Active Ageing and the University of Malta.
