INIA worked with The Tunisian Geriatric Society (STG) and The Maghreb Academy for Medicine of Aging (MAMA), in organising a 3rd National Geriatrics Congress in association with the 3rd Euro-Med Geriatrics meeting and the 2nd Tunisian-Belgian Geriatrics Meeting. This Congress, which ran under the theme ‘Therapeutic News in Geriatrics’ was held between the 21-22nd of May 2022, in Hammamet, Tunisia. It was attended by more than 400 participants representing different professions, ie family medicine, rheumatologists, internal medicine, carcinology, etc… and hailed from all of the Maghreb region and European countries.  The congress had a rich and a very high-level medical and scientific programme which was presented through plenary sessions, thematic workshops, panel debates, symposiums and e-poster presentations. Apart from experts from Tunisia, International speakers invited were Professor Olivier Hanon from France, Professor S De Breucker from Belgium and Professor Pierre Lemaire from France. The Congress was coordinated by Dr. Sonia Ouali Hammami, Chairman of the Tunisian Geriatric Society and INIA International tutor.
