INIA in collaboration with the Satellite Centre for Sub-Saharan Africa hosted by the Dave Omokaro Foundation Nigeria, conducted a training programme in Legislations, Ageing Policy Framework and Older Persons’ Inclusion in Development Agendas.

The five-day hybrid training programme, consisting of 14 intense and impactful lectures which were delivered by local experts, attracted participants from National Human Rights Commission Nigeria, Human Rights Institute Nigeria and from Kenyatta University, Kenya. The training was formally declared open by the Director of the National Human Rights Institute Mrs. Nwakama. Ms. Rosette Farrugia-Bonello, Deputy Director, INIA and Co-chair, INIA Satellite Centre Council delivered the closing reflection.
