The International Institute on Ageing-United Nations-Malta (INIA) in collaboration with the Middle East Academy for Medicine of Ageing (MEAMA) and the Geriatric Society Tunis (GST) organized a training programme on ‘Healthy Ageing, Cardio, Neuro & Nephro- vascular diseases’. The programme was held in Hammamet, Tunisia between 20-22 September 2019. It was attended by 35 participants hailing from Lebanon Tunisia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Sultanate Oman. Lecturing on the programme were Professor Giovanni Ghambassi, from Italy, Dr. Marwan Ramadan, from Qatar, Professor Sonia Hammami from Tunisia and Dr. A. Abyad from Lebanon.
