Health Promotion, Quality of Life and Well-Being
Malta, 19th to 30th April, 2010

For the first time, a short training programme on Health Promotion, Quality of Life and Well-Being was held at the Imperial Hotel, Sliema, Malta. This programme concentrates on positive ageing, enabling full potential, and maximising quality of life in later years.

In spite of travel disruption caused by volcanic ash, the programme went ahead with highly positive results. International Tutors included Profesor Joseph Troisi, who is both Director of the International Institute on Ageing, United Nations - Malta and Director of the European Centre of Gerontology, and Professor Marion McMurdo, Head of Ageing and Health at Ninewells Medical School, University of Dundee.
