International Programme in Social Gerontology
15 - 26th February, 2010

Between the 15th – 26th February 2010 the International Institute on Ageing, United Nations - Malta (INIA) in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) held and International Training Programme in Social Gerontology for the for the 10th consecutive year. Twelve international participants from countries as diverse as India, Nigeria, Thailand, Turkey, Russia, Rumania, Thailand and the Phillipines attended the Programme which was held at the Imperial Hotel, Sliema, Malta. International Tutors included Professor Joseph Troisi, Director of INIA, Professor P. V. Ramamurti, Hon. Director (Emeritus)of the Centre for Research on Ageing, Department of Psychology, Sri Venkateswara University in India and Professor Tengku Aisan Hamid, Director of the Institute of Gerontology, Universiti Putra, Malaysia.
